NEW YORK (P. Diddy Fans Website) - No, it's not going to be called "P. Diddy's in the House." Unlike the enormously popular "The Osbournes," which chronicles the daily personal lives of heavy-metal rocker Ozzy Osbourne and his family, MTV's new reality show, "Making the Band II," will feature rapper-producer Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs's search to find and develop a successful hip-hop group. Combs, who will star in the show's 10 half-hour episodes in which he and his colleagues will travel to cities across the country for their quest, made it clear at a press conference on Wednesday that the show will not focus on his personal life. "It gives me a chance to have it clear to people what I do," he said. "That I just don't throw white parties in the Hamptons every day. That I do work 20 hours a day and I am good at what I do." Combs said this is a perfect vehicle for him since he is a recording artist as well as the CEO of Bad Boy Entertainment, whose musical triumphs have included chart-toppers such as the late Notorious B.I.G, Faith Evans, and the R&B group 112. "Making the Band II" is the successor to ABC's "Making the Band," which focused on the creation of the boy band O-Town. The program will premiere on Oct. 12.
