NEW YORK (New Releases: Amazon.com) - A Thin Lizzy concert comes to DVD for the first time this week. Thin Lizzy: The Boys Are Back In Town, recorded in October 1978 in front of more than 26,000 fans at Australia's Sydney Opera House, features eight songs from the lineup of singer-bassist Phil Lynott, guitarists Gary Moore and Scott Gorham, and drummer Mark Nauseef. Among the Thin Lizzy standards featured on the disc are "The Boys Are Back In Town," "Jailbreak," and "Cowboy Song." The DVD, available from Rhino Home Video at a list price of $19.99, features 5.1 Surround Sound, a discography, and the Thin Lizzy history "Appetite For Destruction" by James McNair, which was originally published in Mojo magazine last year. The tracklisting for Thin Lizzy: The Boys Are Back In Town includes: "Jailbreak," "Bad Reputation," "Cowboy Song," "The Boys Are Back In Town," "Waiting For An Alibi," "Are You Ready," "Me And The Boys," and "Baby Drives Me Crazy."
