NEW YORK (Will Smith Fans Forum) - Will Smith isn't resting on his laurels, even with a phenomenally successful movie career already under his belt. The rapper-actor explained that the Holy Grail to most actors--a "prestige" picture that is also a blockbuster--has thus far still eluded him (Ali, for all its Oscar nominations, wasn't the financial hit that other Oscar winning-films like Gladiator were, for instance). Nonetheless, Smith has no complaints about his career. "What I really try to accomplish with the roles is, you know, I'm trying to find the number-one answer--the film that does both things," he says. "The film that is a crowd-pleaser, and it can garner some kind of critical acclaim. Which is, I mean, it's rare to hit that mark, but there are some films that do it, and that's really what I look for. But more than anything, I want to do different types of films. I enjoy being able to go from Ali to Men In Black II. The actors that I admire most have that kind of range."
