Red Carpet affair as the 3rd Annual LVMAs honor French Royalty Entertainment artist Trueful with a Best Male Vocalist nomination at The Horn Theater on Friday, August 31, 2007.
Trueful's debut single "Wherever" has just been released. His debut album, Truth Be Told will be in stores and online soon on his own label, French Royalty Entertainment. Trueful writes music for the young and old, while running his record label and music company, French Royalty Entertainment.
Born on 9/12/87 at LB Community Hospital in Long Beach, California, Trueful was raised most of his life in Compton Ca. where at the age of 4 his mom realized he had a passion for music. He attended Progressive Missionary Baptist Church where entertainers such as Earth Wind and Fire, Marvin Gaye, Usher, Musiq, And R. Kelly began to influence the aspiring artist.
At the age of 13 he was encouraged by one of his late cousins to write his own lyrics. His path was clear. Graduating from Antelope Valley High School, Trueful was a member of the chorus and mix it up dance team who performed at numerous concerts at high profile venues including the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and Carnegie Hall in New York City. Over the years, Trueful has also appeared at the "Uplifting Minds" conference.
In 2007 he performed in Los Angeles and Atlanta's Black college Expo, BMI's Urban Network Conference, the School Tour's and many other events. He has become a talented songwriter and recording engineer while attending classes at UCLA for Recording Engineer. songwriting and Music business.
2007 marks the 3rd anniversary of the Las Vegas Music Awards (LVMA), which promises to continue the planting of Las Vegas roots as the next 'Music Capital of the World'. Las Vegas Music Awards Group headed by Andre Banks (Founder/Chairman), has made admirable steps to put the LVMA project together that is scheduled for August 31, 2007.
The event will kick-off with a Nominees/Pre-party @ 6PM on August 30, 2007 @ Clark County Theatre (1401 E. Flamingo Rd. Las Vegas, NV 89119, $10 admission) and The Horn Theatre (located on CCSN Cheyenne campus) will be the host venue of the August 31, 2007 scheduled main event (with a Rap Yo Style Dance-off segment). The Las Vegas Music Awards is designed to be an extravaganza event featuring live music from the best independent recording artists making their mark nationally. Awards will be presented by well known celebrity personalities and youth participants.
