Los Angeles, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Cindy Wasserman) - Los Angeles band, Dead Rock West, has recently signed an exclusive U.S. booking deal with international booking agency, The Agency Group. Dead Rock West joins a roster of many groundbreaking artists such as The White Stripes, The Pogues, The Raconteurs and Rickie Lee Jones, and is thrilled to be a part of this highly respected agency.

The members of Dead Rock West are all experienced musicians and are no strangers to touring. Lead vocalist Cindy Wasserman has toured and/or recorded with Grant Lee Phillips, John Doe, Rickie Lee Jones and Mark Olson. Guitarist/lead vocalist, Frank Lee Drennen, has spent time in a number of groups including Loam and Stewboss, and has also worked with troubadour Gregory Page and Dave Sharp of The Alarm. Drummer Bryan Head has toured and/or recorded with Shelby Lynne, The Plimsouls, John Doe, AM, Peter Case and Abandoned Pools to name a new; while bassist David J. Carpenter has toured and/or recorded with Grant Lee Phillips, Jill Sobule, Mark Olson, John Doe, etc. Multi-instrumentalist, Phil Parlapiano, formerly of Brothers Figaro, has toured and recorded with heavyweights like Rod Stewart, John Prine, Tracy Chapman and Social Distortion. Together they make sweet sounds as Dead Rock West.

Dead Rock West's debut album, Honey and Salt, was mixed by Grammy Award Winner Richard Dodd (Dixie Chicks, Wilco, Johnny Cash). The album has been hailed as having "packed a career's worth of potential hit songs onto a single disc" (Amplifier Magazine). Honey and Salt is a remarkably impressive debut, and the recent signing to The Agency Group is the next step in the band's flourishing career.
