The launch of IODA France provides IODA labels and French service partners, including FNAC, VirginMega, iTunes, and Musiwave, with on-the-ground marketing, sales and technology expertise tailored for and operated within France, the fifth-largest music market in the world. The news was announced from the international music industry conference London Calling.
Founded in 1998, Mondomix operates a number of innovative music industry service lines, including the leading European world music magazine and website (www.mondomix.com), the leading world music digital retailer (www.mondomixmusic.com), web development agency Le Studio Mondomix, as well as television and video productions, book publishing, and web-hosting and site management services. Mondomix founder Marc Benaiche and music industry veteran Christophe Le Breton, who has held positions at PIAS and F Communications, will lead IODA France's efforts.

Founded in 1997, Naive has a reputation as an eclectic, nonconformist leader in the French music scene, with releases spanning genres including classical, world, rock, pop, electro, kids', hip-hop, jazz, and 'chanson francaise.' Naive represents some of the most successful artists across the world, including Mirwais, Seu Jorge, Marianne Faithful, Pink Martini, and Carla Bruni.
