LONDON & PARIS & SAN FRANCISCO (Top40 Charts/ Swan LLC Media for IODA) - IODA, the global leader in digital distribution, marketing, and technology solutions for the independent music industry, today announced a partnership with Mondomix Media (www.mondomix.net), a leading music industry and technology presence in the French market. The launch of IODA France provides IODA labels and French service partners, including FNAC, VirginMega, iTunes, and Musiwave, with on-the-ground marketing, sales and technology expertise tailored for and operated within France, the fifth-largest music market in the world. The news was announced from the international music industry conference London Calling.

Founded in 1998, Mondomix operates a number of innovative music industry service lines, including the leading European world music magazine and website (www.mondomix.com), the leading world music digital retailer (www.mondomixmusic.com), web development agency Le Studio Mondomix, as well as television and video productions, book publishing, and web-hosting and site management services. Mondomix founder Marc Benaiche and music industry veteran Christophe Le Breton, who has held positions at PIAS and F Communications, will lead IODA France's efforts.

'Today, Mondomix is proud to join forces with IODA and reinforce its international network in France,' said Marc Benaiche, Mondomix CEO. 'We strongly believe that this alliance will benefit the French independent music community by providing customized services combined with IODA's powerful platform for promotion and distribution, for a constantly evolving worldwide network.'

In conjunction with the Mondomix partnership IODA also announced the signing of Naive, France's largest independent label, for North America and other international territories. Founded in 1997, Naive has a reputation as an eclectic, nonconformist leader in the French music scene, with releases spanning genres including classical, world, rock, pop, electro, kids', hip-hop, jazz, and 'chanson francaise.' Naive represents some of the most successful artists across the world, including Mirwais, Seu Jorge, Marianne Faithful, Pink Martini, and Carla Bruni.

'It was nothing but obvious that Naive would team up with IODA to digitally distribute its catalogue in North America,' said Thomas Lorain, Naive's Head of International. 'Naive, with the power and �savoir-faire' of IODA, is ready to start its own American – and digital – �dream'!'
