NEW YORK (TV Channel 5 report) - Marc Anthony says he's remained good friends with the mother of his 8-year-old daughter, even though she took him to court over child support. Debbie Rosado sought more child support last year for their daughter, Arianna. "The funny thing is that while the lawyers were fighting back in forth, me and Debbie were having the most civil conversations," the singer said in a recent interview. "We're very, very good friends ... she just wanted it to be official, and all kinds of misconceptions (developed)." Anthony, 33, said the public dispute "was extremely frustrating for me, because I'm such a private person. My daughter has never lacked a thing. If anything I've been overgenerous with her mom and her family, and she knows that." "It was never a father issue, it was never a money issue, it was never an issue of my daughter lacking." Anthony blamed the fight, which was settled recently, on Rosado's "overzealous" lawyer. "It's like this vicious cycle. We ended up exactly where I was before she got a lawyer. It's the craziest thing. It was a waste of time." Anthony recently separated from his wife of two years, Dayanara Torres, a former Miss Universe. They have 1-year-old son, Christian.
