BURBANK, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Walt Disney Records) - Multi-platinum singer/songwriter and star of the hit Disney Channel series 'Hannah Montana,' Billy Ray Cyrus returns to his musical roots with his Walt Disney Records debut album Home At Last, to be released on July 24, 2007.

Home At Last features a collection of original songs and timeless classics, including the moving ballad 'Ready, Set, Don't Go,' written for Cyrus' daughter Miley. The song will be featured in an episode of Hannah Montana, airing Saturday, July 21st and was written with great personal sentiment and emotion. Cyrus explains, 'The pilot for Hannah Montana had been picked up by Disney for 26 episodes and the family began a move to California. I had to stay back in Nashville and take care of some loose ends and watching the family drive down the driveway, pulling that U-Haul…I thought I was ready for it until I actually saw them driving away. I walked back in the house with a broken heart, grabbed my guitar and poured my feelings into a song called 'Ready, Set, Don't Go.' My daughter's life was about to change and it was time for daddy to let her go.'

The music video for 'Ready, Set, Don't Go' features special family photos and home movies. It is currently in rotation on Disney Channel.

Home At Last includes thirteen tracks that speak deeply to matters of the heart and family. A unique combination of musical styles from Billy Ray Cyrus and a veritable bevy of world-class musicians permeates the CD, which also features the tracks 'You Can't Lose Me,' original music from Grammy Award winner and hit-maker Dianne Warren and 'Flying By' from one of Country music's hottest songwriting teams, Tom Hambridge, Joanna Smith and Jeffrey Steele (creators of Rascal Flatts' No 1 song, 'What Hurts the Most'). The CD also features four pop classics as only Cyrus could interpret them, including a rousing rendition of Van Morrison's "Brown-Eyed Girl," the James Taylor smash "You've Got a Friend" (featuring Hannah Montana co-star Emily Osment), the standard "Put a Little Love in Your Heart' and 'Over the Rainbow,' a version inspired by the late Eva Cassidy.

"My purpose in life is to reflect an image of meaning and inspiration,' Cyrus concludes, 'and to make music that touches people in deep and lasting ways.'
