CAMBRIDGE, MAS. (Top40 Charts/ Longy School of Music) - The International Baroque Institute at the Longy School of Music presents Musica Transalpina: A Seminar on Austrian Baroque Music at the Courts of Innsbruck, Salzburg and Vienna taking place through July 29, 2007 at the Longy School in Cambridge Massachusetts.

Featured works include by Biber, Fux, Schmelzer, Mealli, Kerll, Bertali, Caldara, Cesti, Finger, Young et al.

The International Baroque Institute at Longy offers a comprehensive program taught by an unparalleled international faculty. The seminar is intended for professional and pre-professional. Other instrumentalists or continuo players (organ, violine, etc.) join the full eight-day seminar, as well. Faculty from among the finest performers and teachers in the field of Baroque music are attending.
