The Graduate Land Opening Slot On 'The Make Party Cool Tour' With June & The Higher

Cleveland , OH. (Top40 Charts/ Icon Records) - The Graduate, touring in support of their full length debut, Anhedonia, will hit the road with June & The Higher as part of "The Make Party Cool Tour" which kicks off on August 11 in Cleveland , OH.

To celebrate the release of?June's sophomore album, Make it Blur out August 7, Victory Records is sending the boys out on the road.The Chicago natives are slated to embark on a small Midwest headline tour creatively titled "The Make Party Cool Tour" with bands The Higher and The Graduate tapped as support acts on the trek. June has undergone a major growth spurt since their last release and has created a cohesive new album that shows incredible maturity. Make it Blur truly presents the band as seasoned musicians not afraid to show their tight melodic edge while demonstrating their musical chops at the same time.

Fellow tour mates include?Epitaph Records' The Higher who is out supporting their new album On Fire. This LP has an upbeat fusion of emo, punk and R&B which may catch some listeners off guard, but provides enough diversity to please everyone from Jawbreaker to Justin Timberlake.

Opening act The Graduate, part of the ICON MES family, recently graced the cover of CMJ Magazine - pretty impressive for a band whose full-length debut only came out a few short months ago. After several years of heavy touring these Springfield , IL natives have created quite a buzz for themselves and amassed a following that feels more like a family than a fan base.
