BLENDER SESSIONS in the Music Lounge
Each night, The Music Lounge will host an exclusive Blender Sessions for celebrities, musicians and music industry VIPs. BLENDER Sessions includes celebrity hosts, guests DJs and performances featuring: Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, actor and DJ extraordinaire DJ momjeans a.k.a. Danny Masterson, The Polyphonic Spree, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Marky Ramone, White Rabbits, Small Town Talk, and many more rockin' surprises! Additionally, Plain White T's will perform an acoustic set including their No 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 of "Hey There Delilah" at Blender Sessions on Sunday, August 5th.
Doors open for BLENDER Sessions at The ck IN2U Music Lounge at Hard Rock Hotel Chicago each night at 10pm. Celebrity VIPs including Ashlee Simpson and artists performing at the festival will be in attendance.
The Music Lounge
Throughout the weekend the ck IN2U Music Lounge serves as a home base for artists, talent, celebrities and guests as a VIP location to recharge and relax during the festival. By day, guests will be able to enjoy VIP amenities including full service bar, catering by China Grill, internet/email access, tattoo parlor, spa treatments and gifting. By night, the ck IN2U Music Lounge features live DJ and acoustic performances.
Media Outpost
Partnering with Sirius Satellite Radio and IMF (International Music Feed), the lounge will also serve as a media outpost to conduct live interviews with artists, live remotes and capture original content. The Media Outpost room will be equipped with a green room, food and beverage and gifting. We invite media and artists to take advantage of this special facility as a base station for interviews and an escape from the summer heat.
Last year's Music Lounge featured performances by Mute Math, Sa-Ra, and special DJ sets by Mix Master Mike, Kill Hannah, Pete Wentz, and Panic! At the Disco. At the 2006 ck one Music Lounge, guests in the likes of Gnarls Barkley and 30 Seconds to Mars were treated to the complimentary perks, played video games as well as pinball machine and received free tattoos.

Expanding on the previous year's success, the ck IN2U Music Lounge will be taking over more space at the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago allowing this year's Music Lounge to offer even more unique activities for artists. This year's event also features an on-site ck IN2U blogger, Michael D Ayers, who will be updating hourly posts from the happenings inside the lounge.
In testimonials following last year's Lollapalooza, The Chicago Tribune stated that "The ck one Music Lounge at the Hard Rock Hotel was the place to be over Lollapalooza weekend." Coty, Inc., sponsor for The Music Lounge felt the positive effects of their sponsorship as well experiencing a 25% sales increase of their ck one brand directly following Lollapalooza, according to the Wall Street Journal.
