Middletown, CT. (Top40Charts/ Lulu.com) - Independent Recording Artist John Michael, better known as his real name Michael J. Citak in conjunction with Lulu (www.lulu.com), a premier online marketplace that provides a platform for people to create, buy, sell and control digital content on demand, officially releases his Debut CD entitled Alone to the masses, with the help from Lulu.com. Having worked with RDMusicStudio owner and fellow Middletown resident Reh Dogg, John Michael has created a two track shout out capable of wide broadband appeal.Combining his lyrical know-how with RegDogg's masterful beats, John Michael just might be a star waiting to take flight.

One day after checking out craigslist for possible job opportunities, John Michael stumbled upon an ad for a Recording Studio in Middletown looking for talent, so that week after chatting with RDMusicStudio owner Reh Dogg, John Michael went into the studio to audition. Reh Dogg laid down a beat, hit the record button for the microphone, and asked John Michael to sing anything that came to his mind, just so Reh Dogg could see if he was quality talent. What transpired that night was pure magic. From the first word to the last, John Michael without prior knowledge of song craft, single handedly improvised a song about love, lust, and wanting. After he was done, Reh Dogg said, I think we have our first song. And that's how it started. John Michael then went on to co-write his next song, "The Price I Paid", taking Reh Dogg's poem type lyrics and rearranging them to form a cohesive song. As with all things, the collaborative efforts of John Michael and Reh Dogg came to an end abruptly, and they weren't able to finish the Hip Hop/Pop Cd that they had begun together, so with the permission from Reh Dogg, the owner of the background tracks, John Michael was given the freedom to promote this two songs to the world, so that everyone can enjoy their works of art.

"Independent publishing and print-on-demand is the wave of the future, and the future is now," said John Michael. "The Lulu process allows me to cut out the middle man (i.e. a separate publisher) and get my work out there the way I want it. My music is much like Lulu itself-it puts control of your destiny in your own hands."
