NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ 50 Cent Fans Website) - Rapper 50 Cent has postponed a tour of Europe, just days after Kanye West's album has won the battle of the rappers, with his new album beating 50 Cent's to number one in the UK Albums chart. West and 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, both released their third albums last week. Kayne West's album 'Graduation' opened the week at No 1 on the UK Album's Chart (September 17), while 50 Cent's album 'Curtis' landed at No 2.
West's album Graduation is also expected to top the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart in the United States tomorrow.

50 Cent last month has been said in an interview that "if Kanye West sells more records than 50 Cent on September 11, I'll no longer write music. I'll write music and work with my other artists, but I won't put out any more solo albums!"

According to 50 Cent's label representatives refused to comment on his retirement plans.
50 Cent was also due to perform at this week's Mobo Awards and Vodafone Live Music Awards in London (UK), as well as an MTV show in Germany on Friday (these appearances have also been cancelled).
