Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers" will be sold exclusively at Best Buy retail outlets beginning October 16. Directed by cinema legend
Peter Bogdanovich ("The Last Picture Show"), the four-disc set tracks
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers from their Gainesville beginning to their 30th anniversary celebration.
The film tells the great American story of a band that came from the middle of nowhere to win the hearts of millions. "Runnin' Down A Dream" has also been selected to close the 2007 New York Film Festival at the legendary Walter Reade Theatre on October 14 with select cities premiering the film for one night only on October 15. The Sundance Channel also premieres the film commercial free on October 29.

A celebration of what can happen when artists are given the chance to explore the depths of their own talent, "Runnin' Down A Dream" is the story of an artistic victory unlike any other.
