NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Columbia Records) - The Grammy-winning R&B/pop music superstar Kelly Rowland will launch an eagerly-awaited North American fall concert tour beginning October 28 in Seattle and ending with a three-night run at the Orleans Casino in Las Vegas. The emerging American R&B singer Mario will open for Kelly at select venues. (Please see concert itinerary following.)

One of the year's most avidly-anticipated concert events, the Kelly Rowland tour will showcase the artist performing songs from her two best- selling solo albums - Simply Deep and Ms. Kelly - as well as in-concert surprises from the Destiny's Child repertoire and more. Kelly Rowland's 2007 fall concert tour marks the artist's first set of U.S. concert dates since Destiny Child's "Destiny Fulfilled ... And Lovin' It" farewell tour in 2005.

A founding member of Destiny's Child, the top-selling female recording group of all-time, and a best-selling Grammy-winning solo artist in her own right, Kelly Rowland is currently enjoying the success of Ms. Kelly, her most recent solo album. Released in June 2007, Ms. Kelly entered the Billboard Top 200 at No 6, giving Kelly her first Top 10 album as a solo artist, while debuted on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart at No 2.

"Like This," the first single from Ms. Kelly, is an infectious pulsating hip-hop groove featuring the Grammy-winning rap artist Eve. "Like This" - a No 1 Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play hit and a Top 10 Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks in the states - became a Top 10 record in Canada, Croatia, Ireland, Slovenia and the UK. Fans may hear a streaming version of the track on Kelly's MySpace page (https://www.myspace.com/kellyrowland).

Ms. Kelly is the long-awaited successor to Rowland's best-selling 2002 gold-certified solo debut album, Simply Deep, which has sold more than two million copies worldwide. Peaking at No 1 in the UK, No 3 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Album chart, and No 12 on the Billboard Top 200, Simply Deep included the smash hit, "Dilemma," Kelly's duet with the rapper Nelly, which earned the Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration in 2003 and spent 10 weeks at No 1 on the Hot 100.

Kelly's natural charm and charisma have opened up the doors to roles in movies and on television. Her big screen acting credits include starring roles in the 2003 horror blockbuster, "Freddy vs. Jason," and 2004's comedy- romance, "The Seat Filler," executive produced by Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. Among her television appearances, she has appeared as "Carly" in three episodes of "The Hughleys" and as "Martha Reeves" (of Martha & the Vandellas) on "American Dreams." She has performed on "Saturday Night Live" and as a guest host on "The View."

Most recently, Kelly Rowland is appearing as celebrity spokesperson for the "Dark & Lovely" hair product line from Soft Sheen-Carson (consumer products division of L'Oreal USA, Inc.).
