New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Roadrunner Records) - 3 Inches of Blood will be crusading through the US this fall in support of their latest slaying, Fire Up the Blades. The band will be joined by Static X, Shadows Fall and Divine Heresy for the month long expedition in the Operation Annihilation Tour, kicking-off October 4th in Madison, Wisconsin and concluding November 4th in Seattle, Washington. After a successful run on this year's free Ozzfest, the band are returning to expose their unique brand of metal to US audiences.

Received with amorous praise, 3 Inches of Blood's latest release Fire up the Blades is bursting with searing guitar solos, taut drums and unmistakably dichotomous vocals. Produced by Joey Jordison, Fire Up the Blades is a sharper, more grandiose musical offering.
Outburn Magazine has praised the band for injecting "enough modern sensibility and extreme moments with its back to the roots approach." The band represents a true marriage of both worlds, servicing classic metal fans with a freshly legit approach to modern metal.
The band has also released a video for the single "The Goatriders Horde," showcasing an energetic live performance, which is set to premier on MTV2's Headbangers Ball in October.
