Clients of the Canadian wireless carrier can rent music via the Bell Music Store, in parallel with the carrier's existing a-la-carte download service. 'Groove Mobile recognizes that there are a variety of choices available for consumers to enjoy their mobile music,' said Adam Sexton, chief marketing officer for Groove Mobile. 'This service gives Bell Mobility clients the freedom to listen and pay for mobile music by rental or a la carte purchase.' For $15Cdn per month, Bell Mobility clients will have unlimited access to more than one million audio tracks on a rental basis from Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, Sony BMG, IODA and The Orchard labels, in addition to Bell's existing a-la-carte catalog that includes music from DRA, Beggars and V2. Once clients subscribe to the service from Bell Mobility's Music Store, they will be presented with the option to add music to their existing library for rental cleared tracks. Bundles of four tracks will be available for $9Cdn and clients can upgrade from rental to ownership of specific tracks through the music player interface. Clients may subscribe from the Bell Mobility storefront or by calling Bell client care at any time.
