Ruben Blades, Ricky Martin & Aleks Syntek Join Roster Of Artists To Pay Tribute To 2007 Latin Recording Academy Person Of The Year Juan Luis Guerra

(Top40 Charts/ Latin Recording Academy) - WHO: Honoree Juan Luis Guerra, GRAMMY� and Latin GRAMMY winner Ruben Blades, 2006 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year, GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY winner Ricky Martin, and current Latin GRAMMY nominee Aleks Syntek will perform. Previously announced performers include Daddy Yankee, Daniela Mercury, Milly Quezada, Johnny Ventura, and Carlos Vives. Additional presenters and performers to be announced shortly.

WHAT: The 2007 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year tribute event will honor Juan Luis Guerra for his professional, cultural and philanthropic accomplishments. He will receive the honor at a special star-studded tribute dinner and concert. The 2007 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year tribute dinner is one of the most prestigious events during Latin GRAMMY Week and is attended by numerous Latin GRAMMY nominees, celebrities and music industry VIPs. The event will precede the 8th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards, which will be held at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on Thursday, Nov. 8, and will be broadcast on the Univision Network from 8 � 11 p.m. (ET/PT)
