NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Upbeat Records) - Following the October 2nd release of CAKE's 'b-sides and rarities' CD - out on their own Upbeat Records - the quintet just announced a re-launch of their popular 'Unlimited Sunshine' traveling music festival with U.S. dates this November and December. The tour kicks off at The Grove in Anaheim, CA on November 28th and will include performances by Brazilian Girls (east coast dates)/Detroit Cobras (west coast dates), Oakley Hall, King City and Agent Ribbons. CAKE founded the 'Unlimited Sunshine' tour series in 2002 and over the years has included stellar performances from the likes of The Flaming Lips, Modest Mouse, Tegan and Sara, De La Soul, Cheap Trick, Gogol Bordello, Eugene Mirman, Charlie Louvin and the Hackensaw Boys. The series has captivated audiences in cities throughout the United States. CAKE's recently released 'b-sides and rarities' has received glowing reviews and features an unlikely hit in the band's version of the Black Sabbath classic "War Pigs".
