New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Made Event PR) - Made Event presents the Swedish giant of techno ADAM BEYER and German techno titan LOCO DICE with Cielo's resident DJ Willie Graff at NYC's Cielo nightclub on Thursday, October 25th, 2007. ADAM BEYER, together with fellow Swedes Joel Mull and Cari Lekebusch, complete the Stockholm triumvirate that has become synonymous with the techno sound of Sweden. Beyer established himself in the late 90s with his hard, driving, percussive and loop oriented style of techno on labels Direct Drive (NYC), Primate and his own labels Drumcode and Code Red. Known globally for his more punishing, looped up techno mastery, Beyer has also infused his more stripped down productions into the flow of his deck manipulation, successfully marrying the maximal thumps and the minimal bleeps into a newly-defined fusion. Beyer's new style can be witnessed on his last mix CD FABRIC 22, which features tracks from the likes of Dominik Eulberg, 2 Dollar Egg and Alex Under. Bayer's own Drumcode label still exists but in the same vein, he wants the label to also go through some changes. It will essentially still have the original feel and tempo but with a fresh sound. 'For me now it is not so important to release a lot of records,' states Beyer. 'It's more about releasing records that matter and records that have a longer lasting life. I want to look back and say wow, I did that. I want to feel that I represented something and I think that things like that become more important with age.' Loco Dice has become synonymous with the minimal techno hedonism of Ibiza's DC10 and is a full fledged member of the new techno mafia. With the success of his enigmatic singles 'Seeing Through The Shadows' and 'Flight LB 7475', Dice has achieved techno stardom, plying his sexy, minimal, funky techno sounds across the globe. Together with his long-time production partner Martin Buttrich, singles have already appeared on Minus, Cocoon, Ovum, Four Twenty Recordings, Rebel One and they're currently completing work on their debut artist album due out next year. In July 2007, Dice and partner Martin Buttrich founded the Desseldorf-based label Desolat. Both Dice and Buttrich had a long-standing artistic career in music before they decided to take a challenge and create a platform to release music they like independently and quickly. The first release on Desolat comes from Dubfire (aka Ali Shirazinia) one half of the electronic music duo Deep Dish. The legend says that Dubfire created RibCage after he heard one Loco Dice DJ set at DC 10 in Ibiza.
