BURBANK, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Warner Bros. Records) - Meg & Dia continue their marathon 2007 tour into 2008 by hitting the road in February for a series of high-profile dates as direct support for San Diego's Angels & Airwaves, which is fronted by former Blink-182 vocalist-guitarist Tom Delonge.

The band - which is sisters Meg (guitar, vocals) and Dia Frampton (lead vocal), Nick Price (drums), Carlo Gimenez (guitar), Jonathan Snyder (bass) - have been on the road for the last year in support of their current album "Something Real." They spent the summer headlining the Hurley.com stage on the Vans Warped Tour, then did several dates with The Almost and Josh Moore. The U.S. leg of their extensive North American tour with Sire Records label-mates The Spill Canvas began at the end of October and continues through the end of November. See below for all tour dates.

"Something Real," which was praised by Rolling Stone for its "close, pristine harmonies" and "heavy-hearted tunes," has spawned two well-received singles, "Monster" and the latest single "Roses," which premiered on MTVU over the summer.

Meg & Dia began attracting attention for their confessional alt-pop and dynamic live performances while appearing on last year's Warped Tour as the first official MySpace House Band, where they performed twice each day in the MySpace tent.
In August 2006, they released "Something Real" on Doghouse Records (the label that discovered All American Rejects and Say Anything), which was co-produced by American Hi-Fi's Stacy Jones and Bill Lefler. Since its release, the buzz on Meg & Dia has earned the band their network TV debut on "Last Call with Carson Daly," and been featured in Teen People, Cosmo Girl, The Los Angeles Times, Alternative Press, and Rolling Stone (which dubbed them a "New Artist You Should Know About"), and a spotlight on MTV's "Discover and Download."
