NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Manhattan Records) - While most people are dreaming of a white Christmas, Irish supergroup Celtic Woman make an arresting case for keeping things "Green the Whole Year Round" with their release 'A Christmas Celebration Live From Dublin,' a DVD featuring mesmerizing performances of some of the most beloved holiday classics of all time. The DVD is in stores now. Recorded live during the quintet's July 18th holiday concert in Dublin, the set includes soaring renditions of well-known songs such as "Carol of the Bells," "White Christmas," "O Holy Night," "Let It Snow!" and "Panis Angelicus" and original songs "Green the Whole Year Round" and "Christmas Pipes." In addition to the DVD release, fans will also have the opportunity to see the full performance through a new PBS TV special, airing during PBS stations' December pledge drive. The 'A Christmas Celebration Live From Dublin' DVD follows last year's hit holiday album 'A Christmas Celebration.' The album, which has shipped over 500,000 units, has been hailed by critics as "glorious" (Orlando Sentinel) and "magnificently performed" (Associated Press) and is once again a favorite holiday CD at retail. Celtic Woman has been winning over audiences worldwide since their March 2005 debut. Their popularity in the U.S. is thanks in part to their first PBS special, which has aired over 3400 times on 316 PBS stations to date. Their self-titled CD and DVD have been certified platinum and this year's 'A New Journey: Live from Slane Castle, Ireland' DVD has been certified triple platinum and 'A New Journey' CD is awaiting platinum certification. Celtic Woman commanded the No 1 spot on the Billboard World Music chart for over 90 consecutive weeks. The group has played six hugely successful U.S. concert tours, including multiple sold-out shows at Radio City Music Hall and are currently on tour in Japan. They return in early 2008 for another U.S. tour.
