LOS ANGELES, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Jonas Public Relations) - Wayne Newton's physicians have cleared the venerable 'Mr. Las Vegas' to perform with the all-star cast of Dancing with the Stars � The Tour during their 38-city North American tour. Newton was diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy which forced him to sideline scheduled Las
Vegas performances but after consulting with his physicians the doctors have cleared Newton's participation on the third outing of the smash tour.
Says Newton, 'Having spent my life in show business, the Dancing with the Stars experience has certainly become a highlight. I'm thrilled that my doctors have given me the ok to hit the road this winter and perform for all of my fans across the country.'
Dancing with the Stars, ABC's No 1 rated unscripted show, produced by BBC Worldwide America, is hitting the road this winter and bringing its most popular teams of stars and professional dancers to 37 cities throughout North America. Soft Scrub Presents Dancing with the Stars � The Tour will feature a rotating cast of the show's most popular competitors, combining established favorites from previous tours with newcomers from the show's current season. Audiences will be treated to exciting new line-ups from an ensemble of stars including season five's Wayne Newton, Marie Osmond, Sabrina Bryan, Cheryl Burke, Jonathan Roberts and Mark Ballas; season three's Joey Lawrence, Monique Coleman and Edyta Sliwinska; professional dancers Derek Hough, Alec Mazo and Brian Fortuna; as well as special guest star appearances throughout the tour from season two winner, Drew Lachey.
