Bonde Do Role: Australian Tour Dec 2007 / Jan 2008

Sydney, AU. (Top40 Charts/ EMI MUSIC Australia) - Handsome Tours and penny drop are excited to announce three headline shows for Brazilian party starters, Bonde Do Role.

Making their anticipated first trip to Australia in support of their debut album �Bonde Do Role� With Lasers' (Domino/EMI), the Brazilian trio will hit the summer festival circuit, appearing at Falls Festival, Southbound Festival, Sydney Festival and Field Day, and also headline parties in Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane.

Bonde Do Role - comprising Marina, Pedro and Gorky - hail from Curitiba in Southern Brazil. This trio of MC/DJ upstarts take the baile funk of Rio de Janeiro's favelas and mash it up with ferocious dirty rap in their native tongue, broken beats and blistering rock samples.

First discovered by Diplo - the genre-crushing Philadelphia DJ-producer and M.I.A. collaborator - the group were soon signed to Domino, who released their firecracker of a debut album 'With Lasers'. With addictive party hits such as �Solta O Frango', �Office Boy' and 'Marina Gasolina', this energetic album continues to incite the wildest revelry.
