Music Publishing Group (UMPG) announced today the signing of No. 1 producer/songwriter and mixtape legend, DJ Dirty Harry, to an exclusive, world-wide songwriter/co-publishing agreement.
DJ Dirty Harry currently has the No. 1 Hot 100 Airplay, No. 1 Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, No. 1 Hot Adult R&B Airplay, and is in the Top 10 of the Hot 100 Singles and the Hot Digital Songs through his current work on Alicia Keys' "No One." Dirty Harry is part of the in-house production for Alicia Keys' production company, Krucial Keys, and from 2004 -2005 was the head of the A&R division for Krucial Keys. In addition to his work with Alicia Keys, Dirty Harry also has production credits with such artists as Nas, Run-DMC, and Method Man.
Dirty Harry's mix-tapes became so legendary on the streets of New York that world-renowned artists and celebrities sought him out for appearances on his mix-tapes. 50 Cent, Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, Nas, LL Cool J, Run DMC, Lauryn Hill, and Busta Rhymes are a few of the names that have collaborated with Dirty Harry. He was the recipient of the Justo's Mixtape Brucie Bee/Starchild Achievement Award, which honors lifetime achievements for DJ's and received a "Mix-tape of the Year Award" from Vibe and XXL. Dirty Harry won the Justo's Mixtape Award for his "2Pac: Rap Phenomenon" mix-tape (in collaboration with DJ Green Lantern and DJ Vlad).
