NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Atlantic Records) - Fueled By Ramen has announced the latest addition to its ever-growing roster - Los Angeles' one-and-only Phantom Planet. The acclaimed power-pop combo will unveil its as-yet-untitled label debut in April 2008. In the meantime, a limited edition four-song EP - heretofore only available on Phantom Planet's recent tour with Maroon 5 - is now on sale at the Fueled By Ramen Webstore (located at https://store.fueledbyramen.com).

Produced by Tony Berg (Aimee Mann, Pete Yorn, Nickel Creek), the new album will be Phantom Planet's fourth full-length collection, following 1998's highly praised "PHANTOM PLANET IS MISSING," 2002's "THE GUEST" (which included the now-classic "California," known far and wide as the theme song to Fox's "The O.C."), and 2004's "PHANTOM PLANET." The band has earned a reputation as a hard-touring live act, traveling the globe as both headline act and as support to such artists as Elvis Costello and the Attractions, Guided By Voices, Travis, Pete Yorn, the Vines, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, the Donnas, Incubus, and Rilo Kiley. For up-to-the-minute news and information, including 2008 tour dates, please see Phantom Planet's official MySpace page (www.myspace.com/phantomplanet) or Fueled By Ramen's home on the web, www.fueledbyramen.com.

In addition, frontman Alex Greenwald is the featured vocalist on Mark Ronson's brass-driven remodeling of Radiohead's "Just," the latest single from the renowned DJ/producer's smash solo album, "VERSION." Greenwald will be featured in the track's companion video. Greenwald previously teamed up with Ronson for a summer-long tour, that included a show stopping performance at 2007's Glastonbury Festival, as well as at a star-studded set at London's The Roundhouse as part of the BBC Electric Proms 2007, not to mention televised appearances on the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
Phantom Planet is: Alex Greenwald - lead vocals, guitar * Sam Farrar - bass guitar, backing vocals * Darren Robinson - guitar, backing vocals * Jeff Conrad - drums.
