LOS ANGELES, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Geffen Records) - Megastar entertainer Snoop Dogg will host his third annual benefit concert to take place on Saturday, December 15th at the House of Blues in Los Angeles. All proceeds from the sold out show will go to the Snoop Youth Football League (SYFL), the 2,500 strong league created by Snoop to help kids stay off the streets with a positive, disciplined routine in sports.

Although Snoop is currently working on his forthcoming ninth album, his new hit show on E!, "Snoop Dogg's Father Hood," and his football coaching duties, he is taking time out of his busy schedule in order to benefit the league he has created, coached and funded for the past three years. The concert will ensure that the kids involved in the league have new uniforms, transportation, lodging and food for their upcoming, highly anticipated Snoop Bowl - which will take place in Arizona during Super Bowl weekend.

Comprised of twelve different chapters, the youth league has grown exponentially over the years due to Snoop and his team's commitment and hard work. "I am as committed to the SYFL as I am to any of my other interests - it ranks as high, if not higher than the others for me. The kids in the league depend on me to keep it going and giving 100% of the sales from this concert is my way of making it happen for all of them," says Snoop Dogg.

The SYFL was created to give inner-city kids - who otherwise would not be able to play due to financial reasons - the opportunity to participate in organized sports. The league stresses the importance of academics, discipline, and responsibility to at-risk youths, giving them a healthy alternative to common negative influences such as gangs and violence.
