NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ BMI) - BMI affiliated Singer-Songwriter Will Diehl's fifth CD of original music, entitled Impermanent Blue, is now available online and in distribution at all online major music download sites. The new CD includes an eclectic mix of songs, a few of which were part of the soundtrack in the OXFAM America short film "Forgotten Communities, Unmet Promises," a film about the communities affected by hurricane Katrina. The film was narrated by Actor-activist Danny Glover, directed by George Giglio and filmed and photographed by Steve Liss, whose photographs have appeared on the cover of Time magazine 43 times. Liss is also the 2006 recipient of the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award for coverage of issues affecting the disadvantaged.

OXFAM America states that "Oxfam America believes music can change the world. We have a rich history of musical artists helping Oxfam's efforts to create lasting solutions to poverty, hunger, and injustice, and we are pleased that Will Diehl has joined the ranks of talented musicians who have chosen to partner with us to spread the word about our campaigns both here in the United States and around the world." In addition, film Director George Giglio notes that "Will's music, written with skill and imagination, brings a wonderful sense of drama and balance to the piece."

Diehl plans to donate part of the profits from all song downloads during the months of December and January to OXFAM America. "I encourage people to learn more about the life saving work that OXFAM America is doing, not only here in the United States, but all over the world, and during the holiday season, to make an effort to become a partner in the work that is being done by contributing directly via their web site at https://www.oxfamamerica.org/."
