NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Pambo's Official Website) - PAMBO offers us a bittersweet taste of her debut album POPROCKS with second single "Perdón." A raw plea for forgiveness in the aftermath of a hopelessly broken relationship, "Perdón" takes a vivid snapshot of the moment everything falls to pieces. Sultry rather than sappy, it's the type of classic song that can provoke tears or an impromptu slow dance.

This isn't one of those ballads that hits you over the head with swirling strings, drum rolls, and cymbal crashes. Nor does PAMBO over- emote in an attempt to tell us how to feel. Instead, she invokes her honest delivery to tell a story of romantic loss and grief. Proving that less is more, "Perdón" packs its emotional wallop with PAMBO's intimate, narrative vocals, a beguiling melody, and a smoky, pulsating musical arrangement.

With electric piano, bass, guitar, and drums, this could be mistaken for a lost pop gem from circa 1979. But PAMBO's rhythmic lyrical phrasing places this song firmly in the 21st century: "Grité, te intenté detener," (I shouted, I tried to make you stay), she sings, giving this ballad a delightfully unexpected dose of syncopated tongue-twisting with four te's in a row.

"Perdón" was co-written by PAMBO and Aureo Baqueiro, the innovative producer who's also worked with Ha-ash, Motel, and Natalia LaFourcade.

"Perdón" is the follow-up to "Trás Nubes," the breezy, uptempo first single from PAMBO's debut album POPROCKS. After the music video for "Trás Nubes" had fun with PAMBO's adorably dorky side, "Perdón" showcases PAMBO at her most musically seductive.

Eclectic, surprising, and brilliant, PAMBO is a 21-year-old pop singer-songwriter from Mexico City. After high school, she considered majoring in math, but chose to follow her lifelong passion - music - instead. While studying in 2006 at the prestigious Fermatta Academy, she was signed by SONY BMG.

She recently wowed the music-savvy audience at the Latin Alternative Music Conference in New York with an outstanding showcase, which was also her first U.S. concert.img src="https://top40-charts.com/thumb.php?x=110&y=110&i=https://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0002DD69W.01.MZZZZZZZ.jpg" border="1" width="110" align="right">
