Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Universal Records South) - In keeping with the spirit of the holiday season, Jennifer Hanson is offering music fans a free download of her Christmas single "Santa's Toy Ride." The song, which is the holiday version of her Universal Records South single, "Joyride," will be made available through an ecard that is being sent tonight to Hanson's fans. And in keeping with the theme of sharing, recipients of the ecard can access the free download once they share the card with a friend. Hanson is closing one of her most successful years as an artist and writer to date. She earned her first ever BMI honor this year for writing The Wrecker's multi-week No 1 hit, "Leave the Pieces." She also had great success as co-writer of Bucky Covington's Top 5 debut single "A Different World." As a recording artist, she signed with Universal Records South and released her debut single for the label, titled "Joyride." She co-produced her upcoming 2008 CD with Nick Brophy and co-wrote all of the material on the new release. In January 2008, she hits the road with labelmate Phil Vassar.
