LAS VEGAS, NV. (Top40 Charts/ Palms Casino Resort) - The multifaceted Studio at the Palms celebrates a year of versatility, emerging as a major destination for music producers and artists alike. Included in the studio's accomplishments in 2007 are hit records, live concert recordings from The Pearl Concert Theater and involvement with the MTV Video Music Awards.

Since its inception in 2006, the Studio at the Palms has seen the likes of the world's greatest artists including Timbaland, Mary J. Blige, The Killers, Paul McCartney and Andrea Bocelli. In 2007, an abundance of new artists including Pink, Panic! at the Disco, Journey, Eve, The Divinyls and various artists worked with famed producer Tricky Stewart, to name a few.

In 2007, albums recorded at the studio have topped the charts including Celine Dion's Taking Chances, Britney Spears' Blackout, Bone, Thugs and Harmony's T.H.U.G.S. and Maroon 5's It Won't Be Soon Before Long, which reached number one and recently received Grammy nominations for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group for the single "Makes Me Wonder."

The studio used its technology to record live performances from the hotel's Pearl Concert Theater for Evanescence, Hinder and Yellowcard. Performances, cut with backstage video and artist interviews, are available for fans to purchase via iTunes per the exclusive agreement.

A first on many levels, the MTV Video Music Awards took place throughout the Palms Casino Resort in September with the studio serving as the first facility in the world to use the latest networking technology to mix performances throughout the live broadcast.

"It's been an amazing year for the Studio at the Palms. The addition of The Pearl took the studio to a new level, allowing it to be used to its fullest potential," said Palms owner George Maloof. "Part of our master plan came to fruition during the VMAs - the use of the studio and the venue raised the bar for the music and entertainment industry in Las Vegas."

The Studio at The Palms is an 8,000 square foot, multi-room studio providing a level of technical sophistication and client comfort unparalleled in the Las Vegas area. The facility includes a large tracking and mixing room boasting a SSL 9000K, 80-input mixing desk. A second studio with an acoustically identical control room and a mid-sized overdub booth are available primarily for mixing. The studio provides a truly top-shelf selection of microphones, processing, amplification and recording equipment.
