The studio used its technology to record live performances from the hotel's Pearl Concert Theater for Evanescence, Hinder and Yellowcard. Performances, cut with backstage video and artist interviews, are available for fans to purchase via iTunes per the exclusive agreement.
A first on many levels, the MTV Video Music Awards took place throughout the Palms Casino Resort in September with the studio serving as the first facility in the world to use the latest networking technology to mix performances throughout the live broadcast.
