New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Sony Music) - British opera phenomenon Paul Potts will make his NYC concert debut March 11 at Town Hall, performing music from his wildly successful debut album 'One Chance' (Columbia). The widely-beloved Potts became a household name overnight after his inspiring victory in the 'Britain's Got Talent' TV competition last year. The clip of his first audition is one of the most-watched videos in YouTube's history, and has led to bookings on Oprah, The Today Show, CBS Early Show, Ellen, NPR, Nightline, and even a command performance for the Queen of England. Potts was also given a hero's welcome in NYC when he performed at the unveiling of the holiday window displays at Bloomingdales this past December, drawing throngs of fans to Lexington Avenue and bringing rush hour traffic to a virtual standstill. Potts' Town Hall date is part of the 18-date North American leg of his first ever world tour, which also takes him to Europe, Asia, and Australia over the next several months.
