Curtain Call Volume One Due Out On February 5, 2008

LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Addiction Records) - Everyone has their own former American Idol finalist favorites who touched us with their heart and passion. Here's your chance to discover what these unique vocalists have been up to since they left the show. The brand new Curtain Call series reintroduces you to some of Idol's most talented young performers with four extensive volumes, each containing 12 original songs.

A joint venture between Artists' Addiction Records and Rocket Science, the Curtain Call collection will be available exclusively through Wal-Mart and iTunes. Each installment will present four Idol finalists performing three original songs. The first volume, featuring Jon Peter Lewis, Ryan Starr, A.J. Tabaldo and Stevie Scott, will street on February 5.

* Soulful rocker Lewis hailed as "the dark horse" of Season 3's Top 10 by Simon Cowell, praised for his "excellent voice" by Elton John and chosen as a "pick to win" by Rolling Stone magazine is currently in production on his second album, the follow-up to his independently-produced 2006 full-length, Stories From Hollywood, which featured hit single "Turn to Grey."
* Starr, a Top 10 finalist in American Idol's first groundbreaking season, draws from influences as diverse as Steven Tyler and Billie Holiday. The intensely personal vocalist, renowned for her earnest vulnerability, made the 2004-2005 list of the "Hottest Women in Reality TV" and appeared on Bravo's Battle of the Network Reality Stars.
* By age 12, soul singer Tabaldo was making his name performing the Star-Spangled Banner for HBO and Showtime boxing matches. Putting his dreams of a music career on hold, A.J. enrolled in California State University Northridge, but got his big break in the summer of 2006 when he was selected as a Top 24 finalist on Season 6 of American Idol.
* Sacramento native Scott was a Top 24 Idol finalist in Season 5; following her appearance, she used her classical piano background and her newfound guitar skills to begin writing her own retro/pop/soul music. Now working on her debut album, she's played not only the House of Blues, but L.A. Clippers and Sacramento Kings National Basketball Association games.

These are just four of the singular voices in this one-of-a-kind series. Volume 2, tentatively scheduled for March 4, will spotlight Alaina Alexander, Rudy Cardenas, Patrick Hall and Gedeon McKinney.
