(Top40 Charts/ LMJ Productions) - LMJ Productions, LLC is pleased to announce the staging of the first annual Upstate Reggae on the River (URotR) eco music festival at Croton Point Park, Croton-on-Hudson, New York on August 23, 2008. The festival features the "Messenger" roots Reggae icon
Luciano with Jah Messenger band and special guest Mikey General, as well as new sensations Rootz Underground, actor/musician Leon and the People's band, and others. This will be an all day family event which will feature vendors selling food, arts and crafts, as well as environmentally educational booths. There will also be a children's area for poetry, dance, art and workshops focusing on healthy lifestyle alternatives.

Upstate Reggae on the River eco music festival is a celebration of the preservation of the earth, culture, community, and the unique riddims of Reggae Music. The day is a tapestry of various genres of music, art, culture, and an expanded children's cultural experience, woven with the education of how to preserve the environment by living an eco-friendly existence. In addition, LMJ Productions, LLC will donate funds to Upstate Reggae on the River Inc., a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation which was founded by Lauren Drummond, her daughter Michelle and Sarah Traeger. Proceeds from the festival will go towards educational materials and equipment to select educational and environmental charities.
