Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Steve Means Official Website) - Combining smooth grooves with powerful lyrics and infectious hooks, singer/songwriter Steve Means will release his debut album, Rescue Me, on March 25. Means' music has also been described, accurately, as "soul-brewed pop. "But there is also a bluesy edge to Means, one that should put him comfortably alongside the John Mayers of the world.

Means, a Cincinnati native who has paved his way in the music business with a tireless tour itinerary, recently moved to Nashville, a change of scenery that has allowed him to soak in the industry vibes and become a more polished songwriter.

Means' music has drawn comparison to Mayer and Marc Broussard, and he also draws from influences such as Stevie Wonder and Dave Matthews. After becoming a campus favorite at Ohio State University, Means continues to wow college audiences, averaging 75 college shows per year.

In addition, the title track from Rescue Me has already been featured on MTV"s Newport Harbor, and negotiations are in the works for more television placements.
