Platinum Hit-makers Sponge Headline Midwest Tour in Support of 'Galore Galore'

LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Bellum Records) - Platinum hit-makers Sponge headline a Midwest tour in support of their latest CD 'Galore Galore' on Bellum Records. The first leg of the tour launches in March and includes club dates in Ohio and Michigan (See below for current March tour date listings.)

Hailing from Detroit, Sponge gained international notoriety with their debut album "Rotting Pinata." Hits like "Plowed" and "Molly (16 Candles)" fueled massive airplay on radio stations from coast to coast and were in heavy rotation on MTV. After "Rotting Pinata" went Gold, the band toured internationally, sharing the stage with Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, and more recently, Iggy Pop and Nickelback. Sponge's follow up CD, the critically lauded 'Wax Ecstatic,' includes the hit songs "Wax Ecstatic" and "Have You Seen Mary?'
