Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ RCA Nashville) - RCA Nashville recording artist Chuck Wicks has been warned about pranks since he began the Brad Paisley Bonfires & Amplifiers Tour in January. On Saturday night, the last show for the tour, Wicks got surprised on stage by two adult men dressed as Cinderella. As Wicks performed his current Top 10 hit single, 'Stealing Cinderella,' from his debut album Starting Now, the 'Cinderellas' followed him around the stage hitting him on the head with wands and trying to kiss him. Then during his final song, 'She's Gonna Hurt Somebody,' Wicks was sprayed continually by the crew and cameramen with endless silly string. 'Brad told me at the beginning of the tour that they only prank the people they like,' explains Wicks. 'Going into the last show I was actually hoping to get pranked or I was going to start feeling really bad.' 'Stealing Cinderella' continues to climb the radio charts as Wicks prepares to stay on the road touring this month with shows in local clubs across the country. The video for 'Stealing Cinderella' continues to climb on GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and sits at No 7 this week. Wicks grew up on a family farm in Smyrna , Delaware and moved to Nashville 5 years ago to concentrate on songwriting and to pursue a career in music. 'Stealing Cinderella,' his debut single, was the fastest rising single from a debut artist in 2007 and the first single from a new artist to crack the Top 10 in 2008. Wicks' vocal talent and the versatility of his songwriting are showcased on his debut album, Starting Now.
