NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Bourbon Road Official Website) - After a six month hiatus, Southland blues band Bourbon Road has returned to the music scene. The band's drummer, Graham Green passed away in October, 2007, and two more members subsequently left the band. Remaining members include founder Scott "Lucky" Hudson on bass and frontman "Cleanhead" Joe McGaha on vocals.

The new blood in the band has an impressive history indeed. Chris "Chief" De Soto joins the band on the Hammond B-3 and Piano. De Soto has played with numerous musical greats including Bonnie Raitt, Etta James and Greg Serrato (among many others). Al Bonowitz (joining the band on drums) has played with former members of the sixties top forty band The Troggs. Former teen prodigy Matt Sullivan joins the band on guitar. With a soul that goes way beyond his 21 years, Sullivan plays with the finesse of many guitarists three times his age, bringing amazing guitar licks and charisma to the show.

'This is an exciting time for us' says bass player Scott 'Lucky Hudson, 'a great opportunity to start fresh, and bring a new and different Bourbon Road to the fans!' 'Cleanhead' Joe McGaha states that he couldn't be happier with the new lineup. 'What an amazingly talented bunch of guys – I can't wait to hit the stage with them!'

Bourbon Road is currently scheduling shows throughout the Southland, preparing for what promises to be a busy year.
