LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Jon Mullane Official Website) - After ten weeks climbing aboard the Rock Picks Charts of newly-resurrected industry icon, Cashbox Magazine, Canadian singer-songwriter's Jon Mullane's current hit 'Go the Distance' has landed triumphantly in the No 1 Position. The lead single from Mullane's just-released fourth album, 'The Source' (distributed in Canada by Fontana/Universal Music Group), 'Go the Distance' is also climbing up charts worldwide, including the Canadian Mediabase Hot AC Charts and the Songvault.fm Charts, where it holds the No 13 slot - just one notch above another hot Jon Mullane hit, the atmospheric 'Push Push.'

The Source is a much more personal album for the 'artist-formerly-known-as' Jonathan M (the name under which Jon released three international hit dance-rock albums) and the new CD's energetic first single, "Go the Distance" - an infectious slice of pure anthemic power pop - has been receiving worldwide radio play and the uniquely designed video has become a staple on Internet music stations.

'Go the Distance' is also currently being primed for exposure in an upcoming feature film and several television series, international advertising campaigns and is in serious consideration to be theme music for this summer's highly anticipated Olympic Games coverage on NBC.

Produced by longtime industry vet David Rashed (of heavyweight Canadian band, Haywire) and Honeymoon Suite alumnus Creighton Doane and mastered by Canadian recording legend, Joao Carvalho, The Source already sounds as if it could be a 'Greatest Hits' record from start to finish, with each song a uniquely different representation of Jon Mullane's multi-dimensional melodic rock.

With the world now starting to take notice of 'Go the Distance,' it won't be long before it discovers The Source... Take a ride on this exhilarating sonic journey and you'll be amazed by what you'll find - both in the irresistible, chart-topping songs of Jon Mullane - and in yourself...
