LONDON, UK (Radio1) - Ms Dynamite has been nominated for another clutch of awards, adding to her explosively successful year.

She is up for three Top of the Pops Awards, including best newcomer and best album.

Coldplay and Pop Idol winner Will Young have also been nominated for a trio of gongs.

Ms Dynamite, real name Niomi McLean-Daley, was the surprise winner of this year's Mercury Music Prize for her album A Little Deeper.

The awards, which celebrate the best in pop music, will be hosted by Ronan Keating at the Manchester Evening News Arena on 29 November.

The winners are chosen by the public who can phone, text or e-mail to vote for their favourite artist.

Pop Idol runner-up Gareth Gates, Oasis, Nickelback and Enrique Iglesias will be keeping their fingers crossed as they are also shortlisted in two categories.

Young and Gates will once again be competing against each other for top pop act and top newcomer.

The Streets and former Neighbours star Holly Valance have also been nominated for top newcomer.

Young is also up for best single for his debut number one Evergreen.

Coldplay's A Rush of Blood to the Head is up for best album, while the band, headed by Chris Martin, are also vying for top rock act and tour.

Kylie Minogue, who picked up a best tour nomination, will perform at the ceremony.

Others acts confirmed for the night include Craig David, Moby and Blue.
