New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Telesoul Records) - Blue Rodeo has won three Juno Awards announced Sunday (April 6th) when the band was named Group of the Year for the 5th time in their illustrious career. In addition to Group of the Year, their album Small Miracles was tapped as Adult Alternative Album of the Year. A third award was handed out to director Christopher Mills who was given the Video of the Year award for Blue Rodeo's single 'C'mon.' This win comes on the heels of a highly successful SXSW show where they played an outstanding set with '...tons of shimmering hooks and harmonies in songs such as 'What Am I Doing Here?', its brilliant set-starter at Smokin' Music.' (Dallas Morning News) The band was joined onstage by Rhett Miller (Old 97's), Luke Doucet, and The Sadies. Immediately following their Austin show the band headed to Afghanistan, where they entertained the Canadian troops. With the release of their latest record, Small Miracles, we find a band pushing their musical boundaries to deliver songs that are familiar while still feeling fresh and new. 'They have the chops to warrant the attention and high expectations they've sparked since their debut... When Rodeo hits the mark with the likes of 'Summer Girls' they're first class," says HARP magazine. '...consistently fresh and inspired!" exclaims CMT.com. Blue Rodeo has established themselves as one of the premiere bands in Canadian music history with sales in excess of 4 million worldwide.
