LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Universal UK) - 'Louder Than Bombs' is the second single taken off The Parlotones South African Music Awards winning album, 'Radiocontrolledrobot', which will be crash landing on our shores in May!

Hot on the heels of their sold out UK dates earlier this year, the band make a welcome return to England and Scotland with a bunch of brand new gigs that look set to sizzle the stage with a dash of Parlotones magic once again. Coupled with jam packed South African and European tours, the band's profile is set to rocket this Summer.

First stop on the tour will be Switzerland where they have been invited to perform at the Bscene 2008 Festival. The Bscene Festival is the biggest indoor music festival in Switzerland with over 50 bands performing in 8 different venues. After having sell-out arenas for the past 11 years, the 12th Annual BScene Festival is expected to draw a music hungry 10,000 plus strong crowd.

After storming Switzerland, the boys will rampage on to Germany which will see them blitz five shows, three of which will be opening for NME cover darlings, The Wombats during their sold out shows in Berlin, Munich and Hamburg.

Next stop will be 11 stellar shows in the UK, one of which being at the 100 club, a highlight of the bands tour. A legendary venue, it has seen the likes of Jimmy Hendrix and The Sex Pistols rocking on stage.

Two of the shows in the UK will see The Parlotones open for multi platinum selling Ocean Colour Scene who were publicly praised by Noel Gallagher for 'Keeping the rock 'n roll flame burning during the 90's'

Winding up the tour will be 16 shows in South Africa where the band is experiencing phenomenal success with sold out performances weeks in advance throughout the country. Their two albums, 'A World Next Door To Yours' and 'Radiocontrolledrobot' went Gold simultaneously. The former went Gold in three months and is steadily heading for platinum success.
This marks the next level for The Parlotones. Don't miss out.
Selected shows in South Africa will be filmed for an upcoming DVD release.
'Louder Than Bombs' will be released in the UK on May 5th and 'Radiocontrolledrobot' will drop on May 26th.
