Brentwood, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Sparrow Records) - Steven Curtis Chapman, Amy Grant, Switchfoot, Chris Tomlin, David Crowder*Band, and Mandisa are among the Sparrow Records/EMI acts who are scheduled to perform at the Gospel Music Association's annual Dove Awards ceremony airing live April 23 at 8 p.m. ET on the Gospel Music Channel.

Chapman, now climbing the national radio charts with his heartwarming smash 'Cinderella,' will sing with Artist, Male Vocalist, and Song of the Year nominee Tomlin and other top artists in the debut live performance of 'So Great,' a song written to aid Third World countries through Compassionart.

Multi-platinum rock band Switchfoot, an acclaimed live act nominated for Rock/Contemporary Album (OH! GRAVITY), Rock/Contemporary Song ('Awakening'), and Male Vocalist (for lead singer Jon Foreman), has never performed at the Dove Awards until now. The band has recorded a new song for the soundtrack to Prince Caspian, the second Chronicles of Narnia film in theaters May 16.

David Crowder*Band is among the most nominated artists of 2008 with nods for Group of the Year, Rock/Contemporary Album, Praise & Worship Album, and Recorded Music Packaging (REMEDY), Short Form Video ('Foreverandever, etc.'), and Rock/Contemporary and Worship Song of the Year ('Everything Glorious') among others.

Grant, a Female Vocalist of the Year contender, recently moved her decades-deep back catalog of music over to the Sparrow label which has facilitated the release of her work to digital music providers for the first time and released an updated GREATEST HITS album.

Mandisa, an American Idol alumna nominated for New Artist and Female Vocalist of the Year, will sing with other veterans of the nation's top-ranked show including 2007 winner Jordin Sparks and finalists Phil Stacey and Chris Sligh.
