New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ InStereo Recordings) - Prepare for a one-of-a kind DJ experience this spring with the announcement of the INSTEREO TOUR 2008 featuring DJ DAN and DONALD GLAUDE. The tour-named after DJ DAN's world-class record label InStereo Recordings-will feature a unique live 2x4 DJ set (two mixers and four turntables) by these two DJ pioneers and good friends. The special tour will pass through New York City on Saturday, April 26 at Webster Hall.

Selected shows on the InStereo Tour will enhanced by an intense visual display produced by Jon Dix of HPX, the Seattle-based video/visual pioneer and founder of HPX.NET. The stylistic approach of veteran VJ and video production artist Jon Dix integrates modern art and high technology to create atmospheres that can be characterized as space-age psychedelic. His techniques include mixing live camera feeds to create "mood collage.". Visual and aural aspects of the environment are synchronized with the goal of producing a sensory immersive experience. The original artistic character of HPX and Jon Dix has earned VJ and video production engagements with a diverse background of artists and events including Radiohead (VJ for 2003-2004 Hail to the Thief Tour), the 2006 and 2007 Virgin Music Festival DJ/Dance in Baltimore, Tent Psychedelic visionary Terence McKenna, Sublime (1996) and many other top-tier bands and DJs.

InStereo Recordings is DJ DAN's world-class record label that is passionately run by DJ's for DJ's who are looking to set the benchmark in global dance music. Originally founded in 2001, it recently re-launched in November 2007 in the digital arena with its first track 'Chaak Treatment' topping the charts on Beatport's Top 100.

A west coast native, DJ DAN has released 10 full-length commercial mix CDs, sold over 300,000 CD's in North America alone, has been featured on MTV ('The Real World,' 'Road Rules,' 'The Club') and was one of the first American DJs to play in China. He was voted the 'No 1 House DJ in the World' in 2006 (and No 5 overall) by DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs Poll, 'America's Favorite DJ' by URB, 'the No 1 DJ in LA' by the Los Angeles Times in 2002, 'DJ of the Year' in 2001 by Raveworld, plus 'The Hardest Working DJ in America' and 'The People's DJ' by various other publications. Throughout his 10-plus year career, he has appeared at some of the largest clubs and festivals worldwide including Coachella, the Love Parade, Ministry of Sound and Fabric, and was recruited by Moby to appear on his Area2 Tour that featured David Bowie, Busta Rhymes, Tiesto and John Digweed. DJ DAN's single 'That Phone Track' (2003) became a No 1 Billboard club hit and he has also lent his production skills to many club hits and remixes for artists like New Order, Depeche Mode, Yoko Ono and the Pussycat Dolls.

DJ DAN's InStereo Tour-mate DONALD GLAUDE is one of America's favorite house DJ's who has released five full-length CDs and has been ranked as high as No 48 on DJMag.com's Top 100 List. The Tacoma, WA native was well-versed in the upright bass and violin until he heard his first house record; and then he teamed up with his friend DJ DAN to spark the rave scene in Seattle. He later moved his way down to San Francisco where he became a permanent fixture on the roster for the legendary Funky Tekno Tribe. For Donald, house music is not simply a mixed bag of sound, but rather an experience that provokes the soul, which he delivers with true showmanship.
