Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ CMT) - Sara Evans and Maroon 5 blend their worlds of country and pop on CMT Crossroads: Maroon 5 and Sara Evans premiering on Friday, May 9 at 9pm ET/PT on CMT. The one-hour special was taped before an invitation only audience in Nashville and features Evans' hits including 'I Could Not Ask For More' and her new single 'Some Things Never Change,' as well as the Maroon 5 hits 'This Love,' 'She Will Be Loved,' and a few surprises. Entertainment Weekly gives the show an A- and touts 'CMT produces its hottest concert yet, pairing crooner Sara Evans and Maroon 5's Adam Levine.'

'I've been excited to do Crossroads since CMT first started the show,' shares Evans. 'When you are a fan of someone, like I am of Maroon 5 and then you hear them singing and playing your music - it is such an honor. Adam and I had such great chemistry and this was an absolutely amazing experience.'

Evans' second single, 'Some Things Never Change,' from her recent Greatest Hits album is climbing the country radio charts. The inspirational and positive song explores the various ways that love is displayed and was co-written by Evans, her brother Matt Evans, Hillary Lindsay and John Shanks. The first single from the project was the Top 10 hit "As If," which Evans also co-wrote. Greatest Hits is filled with Evans' biggest hits from her 10 year career including "No Place That Far," "Born to Fly," "Suds in the Bucket," "A Real Fine Place to Start," and "I Could Not Ask for More," among others.
