This production has a theme of Love and heart break like it was during the 1960's and 1970's. While the poetry is overtly hilarious, the songs are soulful and melodic. The styles are classic R and B and Doo Wop, which were staples of the times.
The group performed in the Off Broadway Musical Barry White:Guided by Destiny which received raves during its run. It was also produced by Wabi Sabi Productions. The production also features Gezele Portwood a singer/actress and Tina Lynn Dickerson an abstract artist and costumer.
There are plans to develop the production into a touring Concert/Poem Tribute to love songs and the 1960 and 1970's sensibilities.
This concert/poem/play hybrid piece bridges the gap between the three art disciplines.
