
LOS ANGELES, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Dick Clark Productions) - Dick Clark Productions, Inc. and the Academy of Country
Music today announced that they have entered into an extended exclusive partnership agreement to develop and produce programming to meet the growing demand for country music related content.
The announcement comes on the eve of the 43rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, which will be produced by Dick Clark Productions for an unprecedented 29th time. The Awards, a cornerstone of the Dick Clark Productions and Academy of Country Music collaboration, will be broadcast LIVE from Las Vegas on Sunday, May 18, 2008 at 8:00 PM live ET/tape delayed PT on the CBS Television Network.
'Our partnership with the Academy of Country Music gives us a unique platform to develop new and exciting programming by providing unprecedented access to country music artists, managers and fans,' said Orly Adelson, President of Dick Clark Productions.

Under the terms of the agreement, Dick Clark Productions will have the exclusive right to produce, broadcast and distribute the Academy of Country Music Awards and other affiliated events and programs. Dick Clark Productions and the Academy of Country Music will work together to pursue a broad range of corporate sponsorship and marketing arrangements.
Dick Clark Productions has produced the Academy of Country Music Awards since 1979. It also produces the American Music Awards, the Golden Globe Awards, Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve and So You Think You Can Dance, among other programming.
