(Top40 Charts/ Universal Music) - Universal Music's pop rock band Stanfour has crossed over to the states from their home base in Germany. Stanfour has reached out to the US in order to promote their new 13-song debut album 'Wild Life' that was released in March. On crossing over musically from Germany to the United States, guitarist Christian Lidsba says, 'What I love about the music industry in the U.S. is the fact that if your song is played on the radio it counts for the charts. It gives the artist a boost, which is good, because the radio is still the most important communicator for music. In Europe, it is only the sales that count.' Stanfour's first single to hit European radio in 2007 was entitled 'Do It All' and set the stage for what was to come with the release of their album. By the time their second single 'For All Lovers' was released, the band was a success. 'For All Lovers' took the European radio industry by storm and quickly shot up to top 20 on the charts, allowing the band to win 'Newcomer Summer 2007' (Teen Magazine, Germany) and BR3 Newcomer of the Month (top German radio station). Stanfour has toured with the Backstreet Boys, John Fogerty [Creedance Clearwater Revival] and played shows with Daughtry, One Republic, and Bryan Adams throughout Europe. Some significant members in the music industry worked on this project with Stanfour. Writers Max Martin [Pink, James Blunt], Lindy Robbins [Backstreet Boys], Jess Cates [Backstreet Boys], Ryan Tedder [OneRepublic], and Desmond Child [Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Kiss] all contributed to the album, with Randy Staub [Nickelback, Metallica] mixing the final product and Martin Hansen [The Rasmus] producing.
