Birmingham, Ala. (Top40 Charts/ Veranda) - The summer heats up as Veranda on Highland, one of Birmingham's premier restaurants, presents the first "Veranda Summer Singer and Songwriter Series." In recognition of its success and loyal customer base, the distinctive fare prepared by Veranda's executive chef, Tom Robey, will be paired with five artists in intimate performances. The first three events will feature Vicki Hallman, Drew Holcomb and Don Schlitz on separate nights. Additional artists will be announced later in June.

"The 'Veranda Summer Singer and Songwriter Series' is a celebration of food and music, offering patrons a unique twist on the typical dining experience," said Tom Robey, Veranda's executive chef.
