NEW YORK (Audioslave Fans Website) - Audioslave made its first live appearance in New York City on Monday evening (November 25) just outside of the Ed Sullivan Theater. The band played a brief concert that was taped for the Late Show With David Letterman.

The band kicked the show off with its first single "Cochise." Other songs that followed included "Light My Way," "Gasoline," a second shot at "Cochise," "Like A Stone," and "Set It Off."

The setup for the show was similar to the Letterman performance three-quarters of Audioslave did with their former band, Rage Against The Machine, back in November 1999 in support of The Battle Of Los Angeles.
